This finished tote bag measures 18" across the top, 12" across the bottom, 6" deep and 12" tall. It features two shoulder straps with an 11" drop. This is an unlined minimalist style tote that is great for the beginner bag maker. This pattern is intended for leather and is ideally suited for oil tanned, boot, heavy chap leathers. It may not be suitable for lighter weight chap, embossed leathers, vinyl, cork, etc without adding additional structure to the bag. The Sedona Tote can easily be resized to create all different size bags from smaller shoulder bags to larger totes. You can add modifications such as contrasting bottom panel, contrasting insert panels, strap modifications, etc. The skills learned while building this bag will provide a great foundation which can be carried over into other bags you make.

To aid in shipping and reduce the risk of template breakage, the main template has been revised. It now consists of 4 pieces that will need to be put together to make the finished template piece. Also DO NOT cut along the inside cut line on pieces A1-A4 and C. These are intended to be used only to mark placement for the attached pockets.

Note: this template kit does NOT include the template for the leather straps. You will need a long straight edge ruler or another means to cut your leather straps.
